Designer's Note
“This pavilion for % Arabica is located inside the True Digital Park in Bangkok. The furniture is scattered like coffee beans drying under the sun, creating an organic and informal layout. The curved geometry and undulating topography contribute to a gentle, relaxed atmosphere, inviting visitors to fully enjoy the % Arabica experience.
The ceiling, an abstract interpretation of sunlight rays, also serves as an acoustic absorber. A mirror behind the counter reflects the surrounding exterior garden, visually extending the space. The counter itself appears deconstructed and non-linear, instead arranged in pieces that resemble scattered coffee beans.
The white tones, a signature of % Arabica, combined with the transparent glass façade, allow the pavilion to stand out amidst the mall’s bustling environment. The storage unit is also slightly elevated from the floor, emphasizing a sense of lightness.
Although the atmosphere is shared, the topography gives each seat a unique character, encouraging visitors to find their own personal corner.”
